  1. Start of the research project in competitive concurrence. 'Proof of Concept'. State Programme for R&D&I oriented towards the Challenges of Society, of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2017-2020. Ministry of Science and Innovation. Optimisation of innovative 3D printing antibacterial gels for the coating of hernia repair meshes (PDC2021-121809-100).

  2. Competitive research project. 'R&D Projects between Research Groups of the Community of Madrid in Biomedicine, 2022'. Community of Madrid. New therapeutic solutions for the treatment of radiated skin (RADIOPROTECT-CM; S2022/BMD-7406).

  3. Reading of the doctoral thesis. Pre-surgical radiological markers in patients operated on for thyroid nodules. Updated systematisation and standardised classification. Doctoral candidate: Sara Corral Moreno, obtaining the maximum qualification. 

  4. Reading of the doctoral thesis. Utility of the 'Radioguided Seed Localization (RSL)' technique in the surgery of non-palpable breast lesions. Doctoral candidate: Odile Ajuria Illarramendi, obtaining the highest mark.

  5. Membership of the international groups ESTES SnapAppy (European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery Cohort Study Snapshot Audit 2020 - Acute Appendicitis) and MANCTRA-1 (coMpliAnce with evideNce-based cliniCal guidelines in the managemenT of acute biliaRy pancreAtitis).
