Milestones

  1. FLeadership of the international consortium "Global Leadership Initiative in Sarcopenia" (GLIS) working on the development of the first global definition of sarcopenia.
  2. Increase in the number of studies within the service at the initiative of the group members and increased participation in editorial committees of scientific journals.
  3. First publications derived from the European project SO-NUTS - Preventing obesity, sarcopenia, and Sarcopenic Obesity in retirement - digital personalized interventions for healthy nutrition and physical activity for Seniors. (ERA-Net HDHL-PREPHOBES). PMID: 37256475 & 36882046.
  4. High impact and visibility of the publication: "Cruz et al. STOPP/START criteria for potentially inappropriate prescribing in older people: version 3.
